So! For the past several months, I have been gearing up for a trip to Romania to serve with a local church there, but the plan has changed just a bit. Due to covid travel restrictions and some logistics, the organization that I am partnering with has discontinued the Romania trip, so I am going to be joining a similar, one month, trip to Costa Rica instead!!

This was definitely a surprise, and if I am honest, a disappointment to be rerouted from my original plan. However, I fully trust that God’s hand was in the decision, and that this trip will be just as impactful as any other would have been.

I specifically chose to join Adventures in Mission because of their love for Jesus and the gospel, and desire to grow spiritually and relationally, and none of that changes with a change of location. We have a new partner in Costa Rica, Iglesia Monte Sión del Evangelio Cuadrangular, who is dedicated to seeing that every province and community in Costa Rica has a healthy church that is able to reproduce with the help of the Holy Spirit.

This trip will include manual labor, student ministry, outreach, and joining in anything that the church we stay with needs from us! I am beyond excited for the new plan, especially as I am just about three months from launch!

On a personal note, I am one month away from graduation with my bachelors, and I spend every weekday morning holding babies and chasing kiddos at the Kids Club in my gym in my hometown, Loveland. God has been so good and faithful through a tough stretch, and I am learning so much about how God does not just exist at church or in my morning quiet time, but in the long car rides and tough conversations and hours of homework, and all the in betweens.

Thanks for following along, and I will keep you all posted as COSTA RICA gets closer and closer!!
