hey there! 

Most times that I have explained the trip I am going on, I say, “Have you heard of the World Race? Not the Amazing Race where you’re on TV!” And then I begin to explain what the World Race is, and why I have chosen to be a part of it.

The World Race is an organization that utilizes Christian Mission Trips to advance the kingdom of God. The one I have chosen is a one month trip to Romania where we will be partnering with a local church, Hope Church, with a focus on prayer, church planting, discipleship, and student ministries. Romania is in the heart of Eastern Europe and is one of the most unreached people with the Gospel of Jesus. Our ministry partner, Hope Church, is a community dedicated to growing and impacting people with the hope of Christ on a local, regional, and international scope. Through training local, Romanian missionaries, the church has planted several churches throughout Southern Romania and has expanded their outreach to other countries in the Balkans. 

I will get to spend one month on a team in Romania and get to build community, grow in my relationship with God, and make an impact. One value that is so important to me is that we are partnering with a local Church that is making a difference long after I am gone. I know that single-handedly, there is not much that I can do, but by the power of the Holy Spirit and in partnership with a team and a church, God’s capabilities are endless. 

This trip will take place in June, and I would be thrilled to talk to you more about it.
